Privacy

Footdigest is a football analytics product. You can use it without an account. This page explains what we collect, why, and what we don't do.

What we collect

• Anonymous usage analytics. We use PostHog to understand which pages and features are used and to catch errors, so we can improve the product. This is aggregate and behavioural, not tied to your identity.
• Short-lived server logs. Like any web service, our servers keep brief operational logs (request timing, errors) for reliability and abuse prevention.
• Your email, only if you give it to us. If you opt in to hear about updates, we store your email for that purpose only.
• Push notifications, only if you opt in. If you enable notifications, we store the subscription your browser creates so we can send them. You can turn them off at any time.
• Local preferences. Your theme, language, and dismissed banners are stored in your browser (localStorage), not on our servers.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your data.
• We don't run advertising trackers.
• We don't build a profile from the questions you ask our tools (including the MCP server).

Service providers

We rely on a few trusted providers to run Footdigest: hosting (Fly.io) and product analytics (PostHog). Football data comes from third-party data providers and is not about you.

Your choices

You can decline notifications, avoid sharing your email, and clear your browser's local storage at any time.
